18 year old girl stabbed in Lancaster, gun shots heard just after 7am

Lancaster, PA

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at approximately just after 7AM Lancaster Police responded to the area of S. Duke St. and Locust St. for a report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, Officers located an 18-year-old female with a single stab wound to the abdomen. That female was taken to the hospital by EMS. The injury does not appear to be life threatening. 

Witnesses told police an unidentified female ran at the victim, chased her and stabbed her one time. No suspect was located at the scene or in the area.  Police  canvassed the area looking for evidence, witnesses and surveillance video locations. 

Neighbors reported hearing at least (2) gunshots prior to the stabbing. No injuries, damage or evidence of gunfire was located.  Evidence Techs processed the scene and collected potential evidence. 

No arrests and have been made and the suspect has not been identified.
