On August 26, 2018, Jose Manuel Rodriguez-Rodriguez was charged with one count each of Criminal Homicide – Attempt, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of Instrument of Crime for an incident that occurred on August 25, 2018, on the 300 block of S 14th Street, according to Harrisburg Police.

Authorities say Rodriguez-Rodriguez stabbed a male adult multiple times in the torso during an argument.  Prior to an argument, police say Rodriguez-Rodriguez also used a brick to damage the windshield of the vehicle belonging to the victim.

The department said Rodriguez-Rodriguez fled the scene prior to their arrival. Officers were able to communicate with several people who knew the suspect and Rodriguez-Rodriguez turned himself in to Harrisburg Police  later that night. He was arrested, medically cleared at the hospital, and transported to be booked at the county booking center.
