Susquehanna Township Police investigating dog bite, dog owner may not know it happened

Harrisburg, PA

The Susquehanna Township Police Department is seeking assistance in investigating an incident of a dog bite to a person. Police say the incident occurred on March 15, 2019, at approximately 5:45AM at North Progress Avenue and Timber View Drive.

Authorities say the victim was bitten, as she jogged by a small unknown breed dog that was being walked by a woman. The victim was unable to get a better description of the woman or the dog. Police say due to the circumstances, the dog walker may not know a bite occurred.

The Susquehanna Township Police say they are trying to identify the dog owner, to alleviate health concerns of the victim. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Sgt. Brian Tienter at (717) 909-9306 or btienter@susquehannatwp.com
