On December 30, 2018 police in Carlisle say they were dispatched about 7:15PM for a the report of a sexual assault. Following a brief investigation police arrested Matthew Malpasse.
The charges in the case are as follows:
(1) Count Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse (F1)
(1) 1 count Rape by Force (F1)
(1) Count Aggravated Indecent Assault (F2)
(1) 1 count Sexual Assault (F2)
In 2017 Malpasse was arrested in Lackawanna County for DUI: Controlled Substance – Impaired Ability- 1st Offense, Simple Assault, and related charges later seeing those charges dismissed as part of an Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition Program agreement with the Lackawanna County District Attorney.
The 22 year old Malpasse faces a preliminary hearing January 9, 2019 at 9am before Magisterial District Judge
