Police in Cumberland County say one person was injured today, Monday December 31, 2018 at approximately 12:25 PM, just before Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a crash involving an injured driver at the intersection of West Lisburn Road and US Route 15 South.
Upper Allen Police say their investigation determined that Jason Criddle, 20 of Elkton Maryland, failed to yield the right of way to Ruth Stoll, 88 of Mechanicsburg, prior to making a left hand turn.
As a result, authorities say Stoll crashed into the passenger side of Criddle’s vehicle causing substantial damage to both vehicles.
One of the involved parties was transported to the hospital due to an injury sustained during the crash. Police did not identity the person who was hospitalized. The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the crash scene by the Upper Allen Township Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police and Geisinger Holy Spirit EMS.
