Middletown Borough Police arrest Ben Travelle Rice for Armed Robbery and drug charges

Middletown, PA

Just after 5:30PM today, September 30, 2019, Middletown Borough Police, assisted by Penn State University Police, arrested a wanted individual in the 100 Block of Wilson Street. Police say Ben Travelle Rice was taken into custody without incident.

Rice is being charged with the Theft of Liquor (Retail Theft) from the Wine and Spirits Store – 430 East Main Street on September 25, 2019, and the Armed Robbery/Criminal Attempt Delivery of a Controlled Substance that occurred in the 300 Block of Hoffman Avenue on September 29, 2019. Rice has also been charged with several other drug offenses to include (1) count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, (1) count of Criminal Attempt – Delivery, and (1) count of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.

Rice has neem transported to Dauphin County Booking to await arraignment.
