On December 22, 2018, at 3:30 am, the East Pennsboro Township Police say they were dispatched to the 200 block of State Street for a report of a domestic assault. Officers say they met with a female who was very upset and had blood on her shirt along with other injuries.
Authorities say they’d been at the residence earlier when Lewis Person, 34, of the same location, thought the female locked him out. Police say they believe Person went out drinking and upon return an argument ensued between the two.
Police say Person pushed the victim, got on top of her and putting his hands around her neck strangling her until she began feel light headed. As a result Person was taken into custody and charged with Strangulation, Simple Assault, and Harassment.
Person’s bond was set at $15,000 surety and has since been released from custody. He faces a preliminary hearing in this matter on January 14, 2019 at 9:20AM before Magisterial District Judge Michael Sanderson.
