Shots fired call in Carlisle leads to arrest of Floyd Robinson for Propulsion of Missiles into an Occupied Vehicle, other charges

Carlisle, PA

At 3:51pm on October 3, 2019, Carlisle Police responded to a call of shots being fired into a parked vehicle on the 100 block of West North Street in the Borough of Carlisle. Police say their  investigation on scene determined that 45 year old Floyd Robinson had driven by and fired several rounds from a BB gun at an occupied parked vehicle.

Authorities say Robinson was quickly located in an apartment less than a block from the scene. Officers made contact by phone and were eventually convinced Robinson to surrender.

He was transported to Cumberland County Prison and was arraigned on charges of Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Propulsion of Missiles into an Occupied Vehicle. Robinson remains lodged at Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Robinson has a pending criminal case on charges of making Terroristic Threats. In August Court of Common Pleas Court Judge Edward Guido refused the District Attorney’s motion to revoke bond in that case. In Cumberland County, alone, Robinson has numerous arrests. Nine of those cases moved to the Court of Common Pleas.
