Shippensburg Police charge 2 men in drug delivery case resulting in death

Shippensburg, PA

Following a death investigation initiated on Sunday, March 3, 2019, Shippensburg Police filed charges today, Wednesday, October 2, 2019,  against a Darby Scott and Moises Segura. Police say the death was a result of a drug overdose where Scott and Segura provided the drug.

According to police Logan Lynch, the victim, and Scott were together during the early morning hours of Sunday, March 3, 2019. The two were at the Sheetz Convenience Store, 359 East King Street, Shippensburg, at approximately 4:30 AM. SCOTT met with Segura and purchased heroin. When the victim and Scott left Sheetz, Scott provided the victim with his packet of heroin and they both ingested.

As the two continued to walk police allege, Scott lost contact with the victim and was later found in the area where Scott lost contact with  him. Charges have been filed with District Judge H. Anthony Adams and warrants have been secured for both Darby Scott and Moises Segura.

Charges filed are Drug delivery resulting in death, delivery of a controlled substance, and Involuntary Manslaughter.
