Scot Hall of Hummelstown arrested in May hit-and-run in Upper Allen Township

Mechanicsburg, PA

The Upper Allen Police investigated a hit-and-run crash on May 6, 2019. Police say driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene and their investigation determined the fleeing driver to be 44 year old Scot Hall of Hummelstown. An arrest warrant was issued for Hall in July 2019. The warrant was served on October 24, 2019.

The three vehicle crash on US Route 15 North in the area of the PA Turnpik resulted in Hall’s a white Dodge van stroking a Chevrolet pickup which then struck a Buick SUV according to authorities.  The Dodge then fled the scene of the crash. Wendy Loper, 51 of Gettysburg, a passenger in the Chevrolet, reported a minor injury, but refused medical treatment.

Hall was arraigned on the listed charges and released on $15,000 unsecured bail and he waived his right to a preliminary hearing in District Court.  He now faces arraignment in Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas.
