K-9 Cruiser left totaled in hit-and-run involving tractor trailer, police hope to identify driver

Lemoyne, PA

On Thursday, November 14, 2019 police say a tractor trailer (above) struck the West Shore Regional Police Department’s K-9 vehicle that was occupied by both the officer and K-9 Maximus Winston. According to police the driver  fled the scene and has yet to be identified. As a result of the crash the police vehicle was a total loss. Police say he crash happened on South Front Street at the Harrisburg Hospital and the vehicle fled by driving the wrong way on Front Street and then got onto 2nd Street and heading north.
