Camp Hill, PA

On September 8, 2019, around 9:18 PM at the exit ramp from Int 83 onto Carlisle Road, a Lower Allen Township Police Officer was behind a gold Ford Explorer with an expired registration. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle activating his emergency lights and siren.

Police say the driver did not pull over but continued on Cedar Cliff Drive and then onto Greenlane Drive. The driver continued into York County and drove into a neighborhood disobeying numerous traffic signs. Eventually, the vehicle stopped and two occupants fled.

Police later determined that Kirk Miller was the driver and he did not stop because he had active warrants. Kirk Miller’s Pennsylvania driver’s license is also suspended. Drug paraphernalia was also found in the car.

Miller has been charged with the following crimes:

Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Officer
5126 Flight to Avoid Apprehension
Recklessly Endangering Another Person
