56 year old Gina Myers arrested by Carlisle Police for aggravated assault after police say she tried to run down victim

Carlisle, PA

On the evening of September 1, 2019, Carlisle Police say they responded to a call of a woman struck by a vehicle in the housing parking lot behind the 300 Block of North West Street.

Based on witness statements and video footage, police say they determined that the vehicle was operated by Gina Myers and that she had intentionally struck the victim after driving over a curb. Myers then left the scene. 

Myers was located and placed under arrest for Aggravated Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Myers was released on a $9,000 unsecured bond from Cumberland County Prison. She faces a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 4, 2019 before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan R. Birbeck at 3PM.
