On January 27, 2019 Swatara Township Police say they were called after Edwin Gonzalez-Quinones threatened to kill the victim and her son. Police say he was also seen lurking around the victims windows. Gonzalez-Quinones is on probation for similar charges in Cumberland County.
Gonzalez-Quinones was arrested the next day and charged with Terroristic Threats and Stalking. The 35 year old Gonzalez-Quinones remains in Dauphin County Prison unable to make $25,000 bail.
Gonzalez-Quinones was charged with Summary Harrassment last September and pleaded guilty paying a fine to that charge after being cited by Swatara Township Police.
The defendant was arrested by Hampden Township Police in Cumberland County for an incident police say occurred on last year, January 18, 2018. In that case he was charged with Terroristic Threats and Harassment – Communication- Lewd, Threatening,
Etc. Language. In October of last year the last charge was dismissed and Gonzalez-Quinones pleaded guilty to Terroristic Threats,. He was sentenced to 6 months probation in that case.
In 2012 Harrisburg Police arrested Gonzalez-Quinones charging him with Simple Assault and Summary Harassment. In a plea deal the District Attorney dropped the Simple Assault charge replacing it with Harassment and Gonzalez-Quinones served 3 months probation.
