On December 12, 2018 the Lower Swatara Township Police charged Shaun C. Zito, 31 of the 400 block of Hollywood Drive in Middletown PA, with Burglary, Theft and Criminal Trespass. Police say the charges stem from an incident that took place on November 15, 2018 in Lower Swatara Township where a resident had copper stolen from her storage yard.
Authorities announced Zito was arrested yesterday, January 4, 2019. Bond was set at $50,000 and Zito remains in Dauphin County Prison as the story was posted.
In 2010 Zito was sentenced to 1 to 5 years following an arrest on 10 drug dealing related charges in Dauphin County. Later in 2010 Zito pleaded guilty to weapons charges also being sentenced to 1 to 5 years. In 2015 a plea for drug possession brought no jail time.
In June 2016 Zito pleaded guilty to burglary charges taking plea which saw him released for time served at the time of his sentencing in June of that year. The month before sentencing Zito was arrested and later pleaded guilty to charges of Retail Theft and Theft by Deception. Only months later in October he was again arrested on Theft by Deception and Retail Theft Charges Zito later pleads guilty to, as well.
