Steelton Police arrest man for crack cocaine, flight to avoid apprehension other charges

Steelton, PA

On Wednesday, March 6, 2019,  the Steelton Police Tactical Narcotics Team in cooperation with the Highspire Police Department conducted a drug operation in the 200 block of Penn Street in Highspire.

Police say Freddie Eugene Sinkler Jr. sold $100.00 worth of crack cocaine to an undercover and when officers moved in to arrest him Sinkler attempted to flee police on foot.

According to police Sinkler was apprehended a short time later and officers recovered more crack cocaine and marijuana.

Sinkler was taken to the Dauphin County Judicial Center for processing and arraignment.

Criminal Use of a Communication Facility (F3)
Delivery of a Controlled Substance (F)
Possession of Marijuana (M)
Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M)
