A Steelton man was arrested in Upper Allen Township on Monday, December 31, 2018 around 4:30PM, as Upper Allen Police say they observed Michael Gerace urinating on a public pavilion in a township park.
Authorities say an investigation revealed that Gerace was under the influence of alcohol and had driven a vehicle to the park. Gerace was arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Prison for processing. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
Since 2007 Gerace has been arrested 12 times starting with DUI: Gen Impairment of Driving Safely – 1st Offense . He’s pleaded guilty to charges including Accident Involving Damage, Fail Stop And Give Information and Render Aid, Simple Assault, Receiving Stolen Property, Unsworn Falsification to Authorities after charges were dropped Materially false written statement – purchase,delivery, transfer of firearm, DUI: Gen Impairment of Driving Safely – 1st Offense (2018), Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Felony Escape.
