On Thursday, December 27, 2018 the Susquehanna Township Police Department say they took a report of a stolen vehicle from the 200 block of Redwood St., Harrisburg PA. Authorities say The vehicle, a 2013 Maroon Chevy Silverado, was stolen from the owner’s driveway.
On Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:30PM hours an officer from Susquehanna Township Police Department observed the vehicle traveling on the 2100 block of Walnut St., Harrisburg according to police.
Authorities initiated a felony traffic stop at the intersection of N. Progress Ave. and Centerfield Rd., Harrisburg. and they say the four occupants were taken into custody safely.
Police say the driver, 18 year old Emauri Barnes was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Barnes was taken to the Dauphin County Booking Center for processing and arraignment. He is currently in Dauphin County Prison unable to make a $5,000 bail. Barnes has no known criminal history in Pennsylvania.
According to police the three passengers, all juveniles were taken into custody. All three were wanted by Dauphin County Juvenile Probation for violating their probation. They were taken to the Dauphin County Booking Center and later transported to South Mountain Detention Facility.
