Middlesex Township arrest Kevin Wech for Methamphetamine, Crack cocaine, Heroin

Carlisle, PA

On March 10th 2019 Middlesex Township Police say they were dispatched to the Sheetz at 1720 Harrisburg Pike, in the township, to check the welfare of a man sleeping in his vehicle.

Officers  say they arrived at scene and located the suspect, 48 year old Kevin Wech, sitting in his vehicle. As officers approached Wech’s vehicle police say they saw in plain view, drug paraphernalia on his lap. Wech was removed from the vehicle and through further conversations authorities say they Wech was under the influence of a controlled substance.

According to police a search of the vehicle revealed larger amounts of suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine, heroin and an unknown white powdery substance. Officers also say they located was marijuana,  packaging materials, scales and a large sum of cash.

Wech was arrested and charged with 3 counts of possession with the intent to distribute and other related charges. He was arraigned at Cumberland County Jail. Wech posted a $20,000 surety bond and was released this morning.
