Lower Paxton Police hope to identify hotel vending machine theft suspects

Harrisburg, PA

The Lower Paxton Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying two individuals seen here. According to authorities on August 10, 2019, Lower Paxton Police were dispatched to the Baymont Inn in reference to a suspicious person complaint.

Police say the hotel manager reported that he noticed several of his overhead security cameras had been pushed toward the ground. The manager reported that this often happens when individuals attempt to break into the hotel’s vending machines. The manager reviewed surveillance footage and the male and female subject pictured in this release appear to be the ones responsible for knocking the cameras off-line.

Police say they determined that at least one of the vending machines had been forcibly entered and its cash and coins had been taken.
