Swatara Police: 104 calls to 911, threats to police leads to man’s to arrestread more
On February 3, 2019 at 8:10PM, Harrisburg Police say they responded to a residence in MW Smith Homes, for the report of domestic assault, involving a knife.
Officers say they encountered a 14-year-old juvenile bleeding profusely from his arm and back area. He said that his mother, 38-year-old Yasiris Morel, stabbed him.
The juvenile was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Morel was arrested on scene without incident.
Morel pleaded guilty to Super Drunk charges following a traffic stop by police in 2016 as well as drug charges and Driving under the Influence following an arrest by Penbrook Police also in 2016.
The suspect remains jailed pending arraignment today before Magisterial District Judge Paul T. Zozos.
