Earnest Lee Jones II of York, PA was found guilty and convicted yesterday of aggravated assault and strangulation in the York County Court of Common Pleas.
A transcript of an earlier testimony was read into the record as a result of the unexpected death of the victim in this case in March of this year. The York County District Attorney’s office was able to bring additional testimony by the arrested officer and a forensic nurse. Additional testimony was added by the arresting officer and forensic nurse who examined the victim the day after the assault contributing to the conviction of Jones.
The 34 year old Jones awaits sentencing pending a sentencing investigation.
